Volunteer Blogs for A Family for Every Child (a foster child placement organization)

As a foster parent, it’s important to me to get the word out about adopting from foster care. If my blogs help convince even one family to open their homes to a foster child, it will be well worth my time.

Me Love Grammar – Blogger

Being a self-proclaimed grammar maven, snob, maniac, etc. is no easy job. Starting when I was young enough to write my own name, my grandfather pounded grammar rules into my head –always with love, but not always so tactfully. He was known to send my thank you notes back to me with red lines and corrections all over them. This was when I was seven. He meant well, and though it wasn’t fun at the time, I must confess that it did me some good. If nothing else, he helped me get through college-level grammar classes without any problem. And his scary editing tactics also turned me into a red-pen wielding editor myself. But fortunately for those who ask me to edit, I do it with more tact, and I even try to make grammar (wait for it) fun. To this end, I am working on a grammar blog called Me Love Grammar that will (I hope) someday turn into a full-blown grammar reference site.
